Safety Engineer - Armoured Vehicles
A Safety Engineer with Armoured Vehicles experience is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Telford.
This is a 6 Month contract with a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the Safety Engineer contract role
The primary role is to ensure that all of our clients Land (UK) vehicles and services comply with the required legislative and business requirements, the main activities will include undertaking of Hazard Identification and Analysis, Undertaking of Safety Assessments. Writing in-depth safety engineering appraisals and reports, including Safety Case reports and providing safety advice to engineering and other functional departments.
Key skills required for the Safety Engineer
- Graduate Engineer, or have a proven Safety Engineering track record.
- Familiar with UK MoD Safety Standards such as Def Stan 00-56.
- Familiar with military tracked vehicles.
- Reliability and maintainability experience on UK MOD vehicles.
