Media Management Operator
I am currently looking for an MMO to work based in White City for a 2 month rolling contract.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. To collate, cache, transfer and manage media required by Playout, Creative Services and Access Services, Compliance and other clients, ensuring all details concerning the material identity are correct.
2. To log, prep and spot check cached media to ensure it is ready for delivery and the required technical quality is not compromised.
3. To repurpose media for other platforms by means of transcode or simple edits and conforms
4. To ensure all associated media (metadata) such as subtitles, separate audio sources and metadata are presented as required (at either input or output stage)
5. To quality check material and report faults where required, according to specific guidelines laid down by clients.
6. Under code red conditions, to escalate effectively through to resolution to the appropriate support team, and to implement any approved workarounds required by the client.
7. To train new Media Management Operators on the full range of technical/computer equipment and working practices and procedures, if required.
Candidate Skills and Requirements
Requirements:
A high level of technical skills associated with transmission, video encoding or other media manipulation, via manual and computerised systems
