A client of mine is urgently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical control systems for Special Purpose Machinery.
Key skills
- Electrical Design for Special Purpose Machinery
- ACAD Electrical
- Experience working to 17th Edition electrical design
My company works in a range of disciplines and is keen to bring someone on for an initial 6 month project but following this there is other long term work available.

The role will include:
- Designing SPM electrical systems for SPM - as opposed to only drafting and/or detailing
- incorporating HMI/PLC
- Using ACAD Electrical
- Working to 17th edition
- Working to EN 60204
- Familiarity with PAT/continuity testing
- Familiarity with EMC testing
- Familiarity with Risk/Safety Assessments
