Description
A global Bank based in Docklands, London is currently seeking an experienced Resource Optimisation Manager to join the bank's Cost Savings Transformation Programme which affects the whole of the group.
The purpose of the role is to develop and implement Organisational Designs, consistent with the design principles and objectives of the Resource Optimisation Workstream. You will work closely with HR and the Business to scope strategy for movement and rationalisation of the workforce to new, overseas, office locations. This particularly focuses on IT.
You ideally will have a proven track record as:
- An experienced Project Manager, managing large scale transformation and offshoring projects in a complex environment - including managing Risks and Issue
- Experience of data management
- Experience of scoping locations and construction new, fit for purpose organisational designs especially for IT resources
- Experience of resource management for IT Transformation will be critical
- Background in HR or similar "Rightsizing" initiatives for Global Banks, will be strongly desirable
Crucial experience:
- Experience of assessment and selection to ensure fair treatment when migrating workforce
- Managing cost benefit prediction, tracking and analysis
- Manage the project plan in terms of resourcing, in line with the overall programme plan and account for divergence
For this Resource Optimisation Manager role, CVs must demonstrate global experience of Resource Optimisation, resource planning, resource strategy, offshoring, "Rightsizing" and the role will include some global travel.
You must be able to handle the communication of the new Org Design in a sensitive and highly effective manner, building strong relationships and always going the extra mile
