Description
To support the HR Transformation Project in delivering a new HR model through the development of a collaborative HR transactional service centre and a Retained HR element continuing to provide a more strategic service. This requires consistent, effective and timely communications both internally and externally.
They must show the ability to:
- Have produced a communication and engagement plan
- Managed brand development of a change programme, implementation using printed, electronic, Internet or Intranet, and social media
- Influence senior stakeholders to lead communication initiatives and behaviours related to change
- Supported other departments in developing communication plans (desirable)
- Oversee full communication programmes across multiple sites
- Get out on the ground and deliver presentations about change in an effective influencing style, and use informal networks to influence
- Demonstrate effective methods formal and informal to seek out champions and use champions to communicate messages
- Show how they have evaluated communication activity and adapted it based on such review to improve its impact
- Produce internal stories that prepare people for change, and capture progress of a change programme to reinforce the benefit
