Marketing Manager

My client in Bristol has a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join a great team.

Responsibilities
*Define and deliver annual marketing and communications plans in support of the division's strategic aims.
*Build strong stakeholder relationships with teams; stay abreast of their changing marketplaces and client requirements and translate these into marketing and communications that deliver ROI
*Develop key messages and value propositions that bring our offer to life and can be used as the foundations for our marketing and communications work
*Build and leverage relationships with key industry bodies and trade associations .
*Work with the PR manager and technical and market leads to develop thought leadership and media material
*Work with the events manager to deliver first class events - covering trade shows, conferences, bespoke client events and more - that build our brand and relationships with our clients
*Keep up to date with the latest developments in including client and competitor intelligence; share this information with market teams and use it to inform forward marketing and communications activity
*Develop a range of content to demonstrate our market-leading capability and experience, including case studies, capability statements and multimedia
*Define and feed into the divisional stakeholder engagement and public affairs plan.
*Measurement and evaluation of marketing and communications activity
*Budget and supplier management

Requirements
*Able to quickly assimilate technical knowledge and distil this into clear value propositions
*Strategic thinker, who is comfortable influencing and advising senior members of the business
*Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, both internal and external. Able to build a network of contacts within the business and externally
*Proactive and driven to deliver results; a 'hands-on' approach to delivery
*Experience of applying new/innovative/creative marketing solutions to old challenges
*Good understanding of using marketing intelligence and client understanding to drive marketing and communication decisions
*Experience of leading large campaigns and managing multiple projects
*A good team player; willing to roll their sleeves up and get things done and willing to be flexible and support the wider team when required
*Able to effectively manage workload and prioritise
*Thorough and organised, with good attention to detail
*Excellent communicator
*Able to work under their own initiative
*B2B and professional services marketing experience beneficial
*University graduate; advanced marketing or other business degree a plus
*Professional qualification with CIM or other relevant professional body advantageous
