Finance Manager - COGNOS BI - TM1 - LONDON - CONTRACT - IMMEDIATE START
Currently working with a large organisation client of mine who are looking for a contract finance manager.
As a Finance Manager working on to the Cognos BI and TM1 budgeting adoption projects responsibilities will include:
- Work with the project team, the finance function, the business and the implementation team to define requirements and implement phase 3 of the TM1 Global budgeting system:
- Be a core member of the Catalyst/Cognos project team during phases 2 of the budget project
- Act as the finance subject matter expert and first point of contact for vendor questions
- Work with the Project Manager (PM) to define finance requirements
- Work with the business partners and PM to define a suitable workflow process
- Work with the teams to define verification and validation processes which will ensure that the DW/Cognos has the same data as the source systems
- Provide SME expertise and testing during the UAT process
This will include the following:
- Non-title led revenue budgeting ie Database income and Rights & Services income
- Expenses (including overheads) budgeting
- Marketing Spend
- Support quarterly reforecasting at a project and nominal ledger level.
Knowledge, skills, experience:
- Good communication skills with stakeholders
- Deep understanding of and experience using/implementing Cognos TM1
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Attention to detail
- Good writing skills
