On behalf of my client a world's leading multinational biotechnology firm in Zürich area,Switzerland I am currently recruiting for a:

Senior Health Economics Manager 100% m/f - 2 years contract

The chosen candidate will serve in a content-oriented leadership role within HTA Centre of Excellence (CoE) - actively partnering with country GVA&P staff on local strategy, leveraging cross-country product insights and learnings, and ensuring team alignment at the local, regional and global level on key dossier elements prior to submission. He/she will bring his/her energy and expertise, working closely with (and reporting to) the Head of the HTA COE with the aim of ensuring submissions are timely, high quality, and aligned with endorsed strategy to achieve optimal patient access and reimbursement for our products. The HTA CoE Lead will also work closely with GHE colleagues to ensure HTA-readiness of the Global Value Dossier. As my client expands into new markets, and HTA proliferates world-wide, the number and complexity of HTA submissions is growing substantially. As such, the chosen candidate will engage with multiple functions, at all levels, across the client`s Therapeutic Areas to ensure seamless integration of HTA COE into their systems. The role includes working cross-functionally and cross-regionally with oversight of centralised vendors, mentoring of junior staff and the possibility of line management responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Support submission strategy and development, and ensure high quality dossier
  • Work closely with HTA COE Project Manager, country affiliate and Global/Regional product teams
  • Provide affiliate support with country strategy
  • Actively participate in strategy meetings and provide cross-country insights and learnings
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of strategy meeting discussions and decisions in collaboration with HTA CoE PM and affiliate (i.e. meeting minutes, updating slide decks).
  • Dossier development: Develop product content/data expertise to support affiliates.
  • Provide vendor management, including RFPs, SOWs, invoice reviews and direct review and oversight of deliverables
  • Review HTA submissions from a content and quality perspective to ensure alignment with agreed-upon strategy and guardrails.
  • Help triage comments and trouble-shoot.
  • Serve as member of RTQ (Response to Payer Questions)
  • Team Support payer engagement
  • Actively participate as member of HTA COE Core Team to share key learnings and best practices, and to help continually evolve the HTA COE
  • Work cross-functionally to improve and strengthen HTA activities by developing a deep understanding of existing processes, core materials and key interfaces. Maintain/develop deep understanding of HTA principles and techniques.
  • Collaborate with key partner functions, including the Modelling Centre, Functional Product Leads, Bio stats, Scientific Affairs, etc.
  • Lead and/or support business-critical work streams
  • Lead training and on boarding sessions, include review and/or preparation of materials
  • Ensure HTA readiness of Global Value Dossiers
  • Bring positive energy and productive ideas to help embed the HTA COE into Amgen's cross-functional and cross-regional infrastructure.


Prefer education and experience:
  • Masters, PharmD or PhD in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Health Services Research, or related field.
  • 3 or more years of experience in global outcomes research including dossier submissions for reimbursement or similar experience.
  • Have worked on external dossier submissions with respect to content creation, editing and/or review - ideally HTA /reimbursement dossiers or similar submissions.
  • Experience working in a multicultural, matrix environment involving collaboration with colleagues in different countries.
  • Self-motivated and able to advance projects without supervision
  • Strong presentation and communication skills


No Visa sponsorship is offered for contract roles. This role is mainly focused on supporting the Affiliates in developing and reviewing the quality of HTA submissions and aligning with global strategy. This is a content focused role to ensure more high quality submissions.
