Senior Internal Communications Manager
A Senior Internal Communications Manager with experience of operating at a strategic level is required to work on a twelve month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Cumbria.
This is a 12 month contract with a leading UK Defence business.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy internal communications team, helping to shape its strategic direction in support of key business objectives.

Key skills required for the Senior Internal Communications Manager
- Experience of working within a communications function, operating at a strategic level
- Experience of people management, ideally management of a communications function
- Experience of managing senior stakeholders
- Proven track record in persuading and influencing
- Ideally degree (or equivalent) and/or relevant professional certificate (or equivalent experience to off-set) - for example, Chartered Institute of Public Relations
- Experience of working within a communications function, operating at a strategic level
- Experience of people management, ideally management of a communications function
- Experience of managing senior stakeholders
- Proven track record in persuading and influencing
The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District
