Description
Systems Security Engineer
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Systems Security Engineer on an initial 2 month contract, based in Rabat, Morocco. The successful candidate will be responsible from conducting analyses and developing network systems and information security practices, including operating systems, applications, TCP/IP, security architecture, multi-level security, intrusion detection, virus detection and control, and vulnerability assessments.
The position will involve:
- Create documentation in regards to the known risks and create mitigation plans and procedures for maintaining a secure environment, including: VPN, FTP and SSH
- Responsible for: System access controls, data protection, system security-related configurations and information exchange requirements
- Investigate and document backup and recovery capabilities and recommended procedures as well as any impacts on: Firewalls and Routers.
- Identify all security design features or operational procedure for documentation.
