I am currently seeking a number of experienced Stress Engineers to work with my client based in Sweden.
Some key information regarding the position is as follows:
Rate: Circa £53ph
Duration: (Around 12-14 months)
Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Job description
The consultant will be part of a stress engineering team at the customer´s premises in Stockholm. You will be part of a team where there are some more junior engineers, so you will have to take a senior role and be able to act as a mentor.
The team is responsible for performing stress analysis (static, fatigue and damage tolerance) on the various aircrafts (including test specimens).
Required competence
Previous experience in a similar role
Experience of static strength
Written and verbal English skills are essential
Recommended competence
Airframe stress experience
Fatigue, damage tolerance (fracture mechanics)
FEM (finite elements)
Hypermesh, Nastran
Mathcad, abaqus hyperworks, afgrow
Metals, composite
Check stress
Catia, Detailed design
Swedish (advantage, not essential)
