Overview
A Project Accountant is required to develop detailed accounting design documents to incorporate a technical solution that supports the adoption of a new IFRS standard
Responsibilities
- Complete detailed analysis of existing accounting and billing systems to ensure that current and future requirements are incorporated into the technical solution
- To support the testing and implementation of the technical solution within the operational environment.
- Working closely with the IFRS 15 project team to ensure that requirements are incorporated into the technical solution.
- Key point of contact between project and operational teams
- Managing process changes associated with the adoption of IFRS15
Skills and Experience
- Ability to understand complex IT/Accounting systems
- Qualified accountant: ACA, CIMA, ACCA
- Strong communication/influencing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven track record for driving process changeTechnical understanding of IFRS15
