Marketing Executive-Initial 6 Month Contract-Redditch-£30/£32Kpa

Our Client, a Global Manufacturing Company, is seeking a Marketing Executive to be based in Redditch on an initial 6 month contract.

Role Summary

We are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Executive to work specifically on our business in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The successful candidate will report to Marketing Manager - EMEA and will be involved in all aspects of marketing, including managing all trade shows and events, literature production, updating web content, SEO, developing social media and apps, creating e-newsletters and working on product launches across the specified territory.

This is a key role within the team and the successful candidate will be required to fulfil and enhance the marketing function for Capital Safety Group internationally and work alongside colleagues globally. This role also involves extensive liaison with all departments across the business, so the ability to mix well with others is a must.

*Creative skills to develop highly engaging and clear communications
*Be professional and confident in customer and internal communication, with a high standard of written and spoken English
*Team player with ability to work in cross-functional teams, as well as on own initiative
*Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Some travel maybe necessary to attend meetings and exhibitions.

Key responsibilities

*Participate in overall development of marketing strategy for the region
*Plan, budget and project manage all EMEA trade events and exhibitions programme
*Develop and co-ordinate assigned sector marketing campaigns
*Liaise with Product Management and Technical teams to plan and deliver new product launches
*Deliver effective and well written e-marketing communications (internal and external)
*In conjunction of our global website team, continually improve and upload information to EMEA websites
*Support delivery of SEO/PPC marketing activities
*Create strategy and launch social media channels for EMEA markets
*Work on developing digital catalogue apps
*Write press releases and develop new case studies
*Book and develop highly creative brand and product advertisements
*Develop customer and sector presentations to support sales teams
*Liaise with agencies creative/translation/digital support/media/web/events to develop all necessary marketing materials
*Fulfil internal sales team requests as well as support distributors/customers with marketing materials
*Maintain and upload information to our Resource Centre
*Create and distribute monthly marketing reports
*Manage the generic EMEA email account, answer any queries
*Deliver other tasks assigned by line managers as and when required

Qualifications - Education & Experience

*Previous experience in a marketing role, preferably within a manufacturing sector, but not mandatory
*Marketing qualification or working towards one (CIM or equivalent)
*Knowledge of languages would be highly beneficial, especially German or French
