SAP BW/BO Consultant (French & English Speakers ONLY)
Responsibilities & Skillset
Provide SAP BW/BO/BFC support to Finance users
Managing the delivery from service providers. Co-ordination between various teams for managing Problems, Changes, Incidents and Releases
Responsible for the Global Data Model and Global Reporting Catalogue
Developing and validating Functional and Technical specifications along with service providers
Extensive SAP BW/BO experience - Financial reporting
SAP BEX Query Designer and SAP Business Objects reporting suite (mainly BO Analysis for Microsoft Excel and Webi) experience
Experience of BW architecture (7.31 version and above), best practices and related interdependencies
Experience in conducting workshops with business and SME's, requirement gathering, High Level Solution Design, BW Configuration and Datamodelling
Good understanding of SAP business processes and key underlying SAP data structures
Experience on working with ECC and SAP FC interfaces
Good level of ABAP experience to deliver SAP BI requirements
Good understanding and use of BI Content across multiple disciplines, mainly FI/CO
Experienced in writing Unit, System and Integration scripts, supporting UAT and test execution
Experience on Agile and ASAP methodologies
Experience on SAP BW and BO Authorizations
Additional Requirements
Specific requirements are to:
Discuss the design solutions with the Business Applications Support team, the Business and the outsource partner, thereby achieving agreement through consensus within a complex multi-territory environment.
Providing SAP domain expertise in the area of Business Intelligence. Provide subject matter expertise for GFS and SAP reporting, configurations and implementations requirements.
Co-ordinate with the Business for interpreting business requirement and converting them into proposed functional and technical solutions.
Deliver functional specifications of the agreed system design to cater for the business requirements - prototyping, configuration and testing of the agreed solutions, both process and system.
Responsible for managing the GFS design integrity and ensure the delivery of GFS services is as per the agreed standards.
Desirable Knowledge:
Knowledge of the Master Data and configuration.
Knowledge of finance and reporting processes preferably in a Banking organisation
Knowledge of ABAP user-exits and BAPIs
