Electrical Design Engineer is required for a contract position in, Surrey, UK.
Sopra Steria Recruitment working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. Our Government client is looking for a Electrical Design Engineer this will be a contract role for 6 months initially with possible extension.
Experience required:
- Electrical Engineer or time served Industrial Electrician. Preferably with experience of the Water industry or similar industry.
- Able to specify MCCs for Low Voltage water control structures and pump stations up to 500kW pumps. Able to write URS, and check FDSs submitted by designing subcontractors.
- Write and carry out FATs and SATs as well as advise the project team on all electrical aspects of a project.
- Industrial Electrician/Controls Engineer to join the SE Supra Area Meica team.
- To write and undertake Automation Risk Assessments, URS, FDS, FAT & SATs for both relay and PLC automated MCCs for Water Control structures and flood Pump stations. Also, check contractor's submissions. The role will also involve general electrical advice, asset surveys and maintenance advice.
