The Site Design Engineer job description:
- Prepare an inventory of the as-is situation at FTTS sites throughout the country.
- Integrated with the high-level project planning, develop a detailed field operations planning.
- Based on the project scope, provide clear and detailed instructions to field operation engineers.
- Obtain formal approval from the operator for each operation.
- Assess the quality of the field operation work.
- Where required, develop and drive quality improvement plans for field operations.
Technical skill set for the site design engineer:
- 5+ years of experience in Telecommunications Industry (Carrier or Vendor)
- Conceptual knowledge of an IP transport network (including IP Routers, transmission technology
- Experience in dealing with local field engineer companies is required
- Structured and precise work attitude
