Title: Senior Design Strategist

The Sr. Design Thinker is a collaborative strategist who will engage with teammates by practicing design thinking principles.
As a Sr. Design Thinker, you will facilitate design thinking sessions with users to learn as much as possible about their needs and motivations.
The individual who will succeed in this role frequently uses words like empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test in their lexicon already.
Design Thinkers are designers who enable others to demonstrate creative confidence with their teammates. You understand, are mindful and lead the design process, know what methods to use in each stage and what the goals are to ensure an impactful and engaging design.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Engineering, Design or equivalent knowledge or experience.
8 - 10 years' experience in a design related role or one that requires frequent interaction with key stakeholders.
Experience facilitating design thinking sessions.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience design and creating a product through rapid prototyping.
Experience working in Agile teams.
Exposure to start-up work environment, willing to wear many hats.
Able to sketch and draw.
Proven ability to act as a leader in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale, all within a user-centered design process.
Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
