Controls and Compliance Analyst - 6 months - Sarbanes-Oxley Testing
The RZ Group are recruiting on behalf of a global Utilities provider based in the Coventry area. They are looking for Controls and Compliance Analyst on a 6 month contract basis to support their UK Controls and Compliance team and the successful candidate MUST HAVE recent Sarbanes-Oxley Testing experience.
The successful candidate will have experience of:
- Experience of internal or external audit, or other process/controls assurance activities (for instance Sarbanes-Oxley testing)
- Ability to understand and critically assess complex business and financial processes and produce high quality process and controls documentation (including production of process flow diagrams using MS Visio or similar)
- Knowledge and experience of control frameworks - including a robust understanding of process, risk and controls
The successful candidate will be expected
- Performing formal evaluation of the design and operation of key controls over financial reporting in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
- Performing evaluation of the design and operation of other business controls
- Supporting and advising the UK business with the remediation of control deficiencies
- Provision of general controls (financial & otherwise) guidance, training and coaching to the UK business
