*Finance Management Analyst (Assurance) - up to £285/day - 4 month contract (likelihood of extension) - Nottingham*
Security Clearance: Must already hold BPSS + DS clearance or be willing to undergo.
We have an exciting opportunity to join one of our key clients in Nottingham who are looking for a Finance Management Analyst to join their team.
As a Finance Management Analyst, the post holder will work as part of a dedicated team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the area to:
*Contribute to the provision of a comprehensive analytical accounting function
*Ensure financial information is processed timely, accurately and in accordance with procedures to support internal reporting to managers, directors, staff and clinicians
*Investigate queries accordingly
*Understand and interpret national and local policy initiatives which impact on the relationship between the AT and other organisations
*Work within broad professional policies, acting as a specialist on financial and/or analytical matters within delegated responsibility
The post holder will support the Head of Finance and their team to ensure that their work stream of programmes are planned and managed effectively:
*Support the Team's CCG assurance function, including developing a system of assurance and reporting risk and issue management
*Liaise with appropriate functions within NHS England
*Support and implement a content management system to ensure information is properly managed and best practice is shared across the team, Directorate and wider NHS organisation
*Oversight and management of all aspects of the locality CCGs reporting requirements
Essential skills and experience:
*CCAB qualified
*Knowledge of NHS financial framework
*Able to monitor budgets and business planning processes
*General management accountancy experience
*Management accounting skills - particularly around analysis, assurance and ledgers.
*The ideal candidate should have previous experience working in public health and commissioning.
*Experience of using National General Ledger system.
*Newly qualified or experience with finance qualifications.
*Must be able to execute not just a strategist.
