I am looking for a Mechanical Engineer for a Government client based in Swindon.
Experienced designer of equipment for use in cleanroom facilities and under vacuum, with cryogenic (liquid nitrogen) cooling systems. Experienced user of SolidEdge ST7. Knowledge of space projects highly beneficial.
Background Mechanical design engineering of the Black Bodies for the MWS Calibration Rig project. The design includes two Black Bodies (there is some commonality in the designs) and a third target for spacecraft testing.
In addition, more design work is needed for a cryostat setup.
List of Duties/Work Programme/Responsibilities The tasks will involve:
* Detailed CAD design and drawings.
* Documentation.
* Support for reviews.
* Handling equipment design and verification.
