Our client is global a Tier1 Financial Services firm located in Milan.
We're looking for a contractor/consultant/temporary worker for a Marketing Associate position. The individual is responsible for the planning and execution of marketing activities for different client segments together with the Head of Marketing. The main focus is on ETF sales, being the brand ambassador for the ETF department and supporting Head of Marketing in defining and executing the local marketing strategy.
Tasks
- Develop a strong understanding of the Italian investment and client landscape and of products, sales strategies and overall business goals, against which to implement the marketing strategy
- Interact with stakeholders within the business and external agency partners to manage projects from end-to-end.
- Organisation of proprietary as well as third party events
- Adaptation of print and digital campaigns as well as websites
- Adaptation and development of collateral (brochures and flyers, white papers, etc.)
- Provision of content for newsletters, media cooperations and websites
- Review progress of projects against plan and refine based on these results
- Liaise with all teams within the ETF department (EMEA) to establish all requirements within the set time lines and budget limitations
- Actively get approval, track and administrate the budget
Requirements
- Degree in business studies, economics, communications or professional qualification
- Min. 5 years experience in marketing, preferably in the financial service industry (asset manager, bank) in Italy
- Product and investment knowledge, ideally in the ETF space
- Understanding of wealth and retail client segments
- Experience in various channels of the communication and marketing mix (above the line and below the line)
- Excellent spoken and written English, Italian as a native/fluent language
- Experience in an international environment or a period of overseas would be a plus
