Moody's Business Analyst

A Moody's Business Analyst is required for a long-term, lucrative contract with a major financial services client based in Amsterdam.

The Moody's Business Analyst will be responsible for the delivery of configuration designs for all functionality plotted on Moody's RiskAuthority (MRA) including the RiskDiscovery module (integrated Qlikview). This includes (amongst others) data quality and validation, different regulatory 'calculations', internal analysis, sign off and regulatory report requirements (incl. EBA validations) and the conversion to the XBRL format. In this job you have the opportunity to work closely together with regulatory reporting experts, business analysts and architects.

The Moody's Business Analyst will IDEALLY HAVE 65%+ of the following skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of and experience with configuration of Moody's RiskAuthority incl. RiskDiscovery;
  • Broad and deep knowledge about regulatory calculation and reporting processes and requirements;
  • Strong analytical skills and proven experience with regulatory reporting processes;
  • Strong Business Analytical skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Proven experience with facilitation of workshops;
  • Knowledge of Financial Products;
  • Proven experience in working in an agile environment;
  • Proven experience with transferring knowledge;
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience of Financial Regulatory Reporting (eg ECB/DNB/BoE reporting) and/or Head-Office reporting.

The Moody's Business Analyst will:

  • Participate in workshops to clarify requirements and functional design;
  • Validate the understanding of the functional design and fit/gap with MRA;
  • Write configuration design documentation and validate with functional experts;
  • Configure RiskAuthority based on the configuration design;
  • Deliver input for user manual and participate in explanation sessions with users;
  • Support the analysis of issues during after care;
  • Hand-over knowledge to the maintenance and support team.

This is an urgent requirement and interviews are scheduled for next week.
