Job Title: Mechanical Design Technician III
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 13 months Contract (Temporary position with the option to hire full time)
Comments:
- Temporary position with the option to hire full time.
- Position can be for full time or part time work if the candidate is the right fit.
Experience:
- Catheter design and process development or catheter manufacturing background ideal
- Solidworks drafting is required
- Background with medical device development and cleanroom experience is preferred
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Soldiworks drafting certification preferred
Job Requirements:
- Support design, process development and prototyping of new IVUS catheter technology
- Product testing, documentation of results and simple data analysis
- Recording of studies within a laboratory notebook
- Solidworks drafting of product prototypes
