IP/MPBN Support Engineer - Contract - Ghana

We are looking for an experienced IP/MPBN Support Engineer, with a right Customer Support mindset, proactive approach and right competence to troubleshoot and solve technically complex and network issues.

Required Technical Competencies:

  • At least 5-6 years' experience, with in-depth troubleshooting skills on Ericsson MPBN nodes.
  • At least 5-6 years of experience in a customer support environment.
  • Highly developed IP skills and knowledge required to trace IP routing issues in the network.
  • In-depth SW and HW troubleshooting skills on the Juniper and RedBack nodes.
  • Highly developed knowledge of Ericsson's MPBN implementation and design.
  • Highly developed knowledge of Firewalls like Netscreen etc. and Layer2/3 Switches like Extreme.
  • Good knowledge of IPWorks.
  • Will be a plus, if you have experience in Installation, Implementation, Commissioning and Testing of Ericsson SGSN, CGSN, and GGSN nodes and highly developed HW and SW troubleshooting skills on Ericsson PS CORE nodes.
  • Knowledge on UMTS, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, GSM
  • Experience on Customer Support Tools like SMS, KCS, MHWeb.
  • Excellent Communication skills required (Both written and oral).
