Commercial Finance Business Partner - Healthcare - Buckinghamshire - Contract - £250 - £300

My client is a global healthcare company in need of a talented Commercial Finance Business Partner. You will be key finance partner for the EMEA Commercial organization. The role will primarily support 3 Lab Businesses within a Life Sciences portfolio. The Lab Businesses focus on design, manufacturing and distribution of a wide range of products used in the research and drug development space.

In addition to provide financial support to executive leaders in charge of these businesses, the role will focus on analysing the business performance and making tactical/strategic recommendations to drive long-term profitable growth.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Partner with the EMEA Lab Businesses commercial leaders in driving profitable growth at an acceptable risk for the company.
  • Finance lead for commercial negotiations, including authorization of non-standard/non-preferred terms & conditions for instrument deals.
  • Finance lead for managing the commercial planning cycle and annual budgets for commercial team in EMEA.
  • Partner with the EMEA Lab Businesses commercial leaders to achieve optimal capital allocation across the different product ranges, countries and direct vs indirect channels.
  • Leading the order and sales estimate process, working closely with Product FP&A and Global FP&A CoE teams,
  • Providing necessary analytics to highlight key business performance drivers; Identifying risks and opportunities throughout the quarter and developing processes to mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities
  • Providing pricing, margin and market share analytics to assist commercial teams during contract reviews and negotiations, as well as advising on financial solutions, terms and conditions
  • Participating in the sales and operations planning process by ensuring reconciliation between the Sales estimate and demand forecast, advising on actions needed to maximize product deliveries
  • Consolidating actual operating performance and reporting results.
  • Working with Product Finance Managers and operations leaders to drive margin accretion opportunities
  • Leading and/or participating in simplification projects that will facilitate and increase capacity for commercial effectiveness
  • Participating in quarterly/annual accounting closing processes
  • Coach and mentor FMP (Finance Management Program) rotation

Essential

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration and significant financial work experience
  • Qualified accountant with significant experience in commercial Finance in a global healthcare organisation or in the industry.
