Key Sales Account Manager, 9 months Contract, Based in Nottingham or Coventry
Pontoon has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager that are used to working with a fast moving and tight time frame environment. The Successful consultant will be experience of working within the energy market and buliding relationships with new clients.
* Must have previous experience of Supplier Energy Market.*
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the securing of new business to deliver energy efficiency measures on behalf of other Obligated Parties and external clients
- Specifically to develop, manage and cultivate appropriate decision making level client stakeholders to secure long-term high value management based contracts and projects for Obligation Delivery and Insulation Services
- Directly accountable for a defined P&L contribution to Obligation Delivery via new revenue.
- Originate, develop and then lead new management projects through to legal contract close and during the delivery phases, directing expertise from B2M colleagues as required to ensure business targets are met.
- Ensuring adherence to agreed process in the management projects
- Provide high level stakeholder representation with clients and potential clients to enhance reputation within the marketplace and secure new contracts
- Prepare extensive and detailed verbal and written proposals, to provide clients with commercially viable solutions and presentations to Executive Board, internally and externally
Key Tasks:
- Demonstrable track record of managing internal and external customer relationships at board level in a competitive environment.
- Working knowledge of the UK Energy Efficiency and Obligation marketplace
- Ideally experience in working with Energy Supplier, Health Authority or Devolved Government clientele
- P&L accountability
- Strong team building and leadership skill
- Ideally experience of commercial management across a broad portfolio of customers/products/services/transactions
- Experience in product contract management
- Experience in managing a portfolio of projects whilst balancing multiple stakeholders both internally and externally
- Lateral thinker to develop win- win solutions
- Advanced Stakeholder management
