Description:
- Create the deal technical solution from the draft in pre-sales, focusing on transformation aspects, and provide inputs into the Delivery reviews according IT2P
- Responsible for verifying (Sizing, Customer requirements) and implementing the detailed technical design solution to the requirements as identified by the Project/Technical Manager.
- Responsible for providing a detailed technical design for EAH solutions. Is often the Principal Consultant who analyzes and develops enterprise technology solutions.
- Setup and lead the Design Authority for the EAH Deal Transformation until approval.
Regularly leads the technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions to the customer. Provides a team structure conducive to high performance, and manages the team life cycle stages.
- Provides advanced technical consulting and advice to others on proposal efforts, solution design, system management, tuning and modification of solutions id required.
- Collects and determines data from appropriate sources to assist in determining customer needs and requirements.
- Responds to requests for technical information from customers. Develops customer technology solutions using various industry products, technologies and resource centers (SAP-HP-Competence Centers)
- Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often needs to develop new methods to apply to the situation.
- Owns and manages knowledge sharing within a community (eg team, practice, or project). Ensures team members support knowledge sharing and re-use requirements of project. Contributes significant knowledge to job family community.
- Proactively encourages membership and contributions of others to professional community and coaches others in area of expertise. Regularly produces internally published material such as knowledge briefs, service delivery kit components and modules, etc. Presents at multi-customer technology conferences.
- Creates and supports sales activities. Manages bids, or major input into the sales life cycle. Manages activities and provides qualitative and quantitative information for successful sales. Produces complete proposals for smaller engagements within area of expertise. Actively grows HP portfolio with existing customers through new opportunities and change management. Assists with multiple customers.
- Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Sustained and consistent contribution at the work group level.
- Accountable for the integrity and execution of the technical design
Skills:
- 8-12 years experience in technical consultative selling and solution/account management
- Technical and solution experience in IT industry
- Relevant solution or career certifications
- Several years (3-5) of functional/technical experience in EAH, SAP ERP Solutions
- Advanced understanding of RDBMS databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
- Experience on multiple full release project life cycles.
- Experience in ERP migration projects
- Advanced understanding of testing tools, unit testing and integration test Scripting,as well as testing methodologies.
- Advanced experience using Integrated Graphical Products (eg, Visio)
- Able to define technical standards that meet customer requirements, in a cost effective way/manner.
- Good verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
- General project management/team leader skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a globally dispersed team and with clients and vendors.
- Proven technical leadership skills.
- PMP Certification is a plus
- SAP Certified engineer is a plus
