Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Stakeholder Manager to work within Central Government on a contract basis. This position is based in Kent, initially until March 2017 offering up to £100 per day Ltd.

Main Duties:

Operational delivery of Engagement strategies and associated action plans for Clinical Commissioning Groups supporting them to involve local people in the planning, design and delivery of local health services; working with local partners, public, patients/carers and the seldom heard communities.

The post-holder is responsible for developing and leading a proactive programme of work for customers, delivering expert engagement advice and support to CCGs and other customers on time and on budget.

Actively contribute to professional development programmes and provides subject matter expertise to colleagues across the directorate as appropriate.

To provide operational advice and support on engagement duties across client localities with all its varied communities. Providing expertise in patient research, involving patients/carers and the public in different and innovative ways throughout the commissioning cycle.
To support effective communications and engagement mechanisms which will ensure that CCGs/STPs run inclusive, open and transparent commissioning of services involving local people in the planning, development and delivery of health services.

Using a range of techniques to effectively include people from face-to-face workshops/focus groups/interviews/roadshows etc through virtual research via social media or surveys.
Analyse, evaluate and evidence patient and carers experience of health services, and the effectiveness of patients and carers involvement, quantifying the impact of the citizen and patients views and experience on commissioning.

Record, and promote the commissioners work with key groups and communities across the CCG/STP localities.

Deliver Communications and Engagement training and awareness sessions for clinicians, staff, patients and the public and undertaking post-training evaluation exercises.
To work in a smart, effective and professional manner working within the NEL CSU business planning processes, and the corporate risk and financial planning processes.
Order goods, supplies and services in line with the CSUs financial procedures and standing financial instructions.
Establish and maintain improved channels of communication and citizen involvement, promoting the active use of patient insight and evidence by commissioners.
