Web Editor - Wolverhampton - 3+months contract - £30-32k
I am currently recruiting for a Web Editor for one of my clients based in Wolverhampton.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop, update and maintain websites, proofing of given content plus creating links where appropriate.
*Update, maintain and edit (using Photoshop) departmental photo library.
*Knowledge of search engine optimisation and ability to review the performance of content using analytics and making changes where necessary.
*Support the marketing team in event promotion through a variety of platforms and income generation.
*Set up events on the e-store system to ensure payment for events within a timely and accurate manner.
*Increase and develop social media presence including Facebook Likes, high profile followers on Twitter and LinkedIn and identify future trends in social media.
*Liaison with communications staff at partner organisations.
*Create templates for content for the CRM systems including set up and distribution of email marketing including e-shots and newsletters and ensuring that tracking software is utilised properly.
*Create links across platforms to ensure maximum efficiency and a co-ordinated approach.
*Creation and updating of business knowledge zones
*Uploading of videos, poll creation, online survey creation, updating and editing news, events and social media.
*Logging and processing requests to help in the online promotion of activity eg events, campaigns and news.
Key Skills & Experience
*Extensive experience of website design and development
*Experience of working with: Javascript, Joomla, CSS layouts, WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, HTML 5, Dreamweaver
*Experience of using other CMS systems and adhering to company/branding guidelines
*Experience of creating HTML newsletters
*Ability to edit information for the website
*Experience of working with CRM systems
*Ability to design and develop and test the functionality of the sites
*Must be flexible and adaptable
*Self-starter with strong self-management skills
*Willingness to work at other locations
*Highly motivated
*Experience of working on multiple projects to tight deadlines
*Knowledge of current and upcoming data protection legislation and copyright laws
*Driving licence and access to own transport
