Description

Harvey Nash's client in Edinburgh require an experience Media & Communications Officer to join their team on an initial 3 months.

You will provide media advice, handle media requests for interviews/comments, assist with publications and releases, and handle media enquiries. You will also maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external parties, and maintain and update the company website, Intranet and social media channels.

  • Extensive relevant experience in a complex communications environment.
  • This must include media office experience.
  • A strong, broad range of writing skills including digital and media copy.
  • High degree of integrity.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with senior managers, and other organisations.
  • Skilled in working on own initiative and manage multiple work-streams.
  • Strong co-ordination experience - internal, digital and stakeholder communications.
  • Self-organised and a self-starter.
