An opportunity has arisen to join the Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) department as a COMAH Technical Author.
Additional Information
Within the scope of the role, as a Technical Author you will be responsible for support to all areas of Manufacturing Operations including, but not limited to:
- Writing and supporting others to write risk assessments for hazardous and non-hazardous areas
- Risk assessments will include DSEAR, FERA and COSHH assessments
- Ensure safety documents are updated in a timely manner
- Supporting internal and external safety audits
- Support process hazard (HAZOP) and human factors assessments
- Champion internal safety procedures
Qualifications and experience
- NEBOSH certificate
- Experience in writing and reviewing safety documentation
- Engineering, chemical or explosives industry experience desirable
- COMAH experience desirable
