Capita are partnered with a Global Consultancy who are looking for a Web/Software development driven Project Manager to work on-site with a global client based in Dublin.
The end client is a global player in the Media/Broadcasting industry with over 19 million subscribers worldwide. The business focuses on platforms, technology and Managed Services that do all the processing, hosting, user experience design and platform management on the content owner's and broadcaster's behalf.
We are looking for up to 5 Project Managers who must have a background in delivering Web/Software development based projects. If you have experience within the media/Broadcasting industry you will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- The Project Manager ensures that a contract for products and/or services is delivered to the satisfaction of the customer and client. To do this the PM details and clarifies the project scope, secures the necessary resources, plans, and monitors all necessary activities.
- Must engage with the Customer, Regional Organization, 3rd party suppliers, Product development Units (PDU) and Global Resource providers.
- Ensure that adequate cost and resource allocation for compliance to Group and local safety requirements are included in the project scope.
- Track project activities and milestones, drive risk management, monitor the project plan, and manage change requests.
- The PM will define an action plan for solving any issues and follow up on the execution of the action plan.
- Set and manage project expectations with the customer and stakeholders, manage customer relations and build customer confidence.
- Track the financial results, ensure that the project is scoped appropriately for the cost.
- Ensure that the relevant governance is in place and communicate achievements clearly for the governance period.
- Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Candidate MUST HAVE proven technical experience in Software Development and Web Technologies.
