*CONTRACT - GLOBAL IMPACT MANAGER.*

My client is a purpose-driven company, founded on the principle that "people are basically good".

My client focuses its Global Impact on three main areas: Opportunity for All, Charity and Circular Commerce. They also pay close attention to how we operate as a Responsible Business. These focus areas are Embedded in how they think and operate, and in how they engage the world. They pursue our goals by working closely with business partners to embed Global Impact in our operations, products and processes; engaging employees and stakeholders to foster action and advocacy; and driving Global Impact to create economic opportunity, enable charitable giving and power a more circular economy.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Together with the Senior Manager, EMEA Global Impact work across the Matrix to take programs from high level ideas to functional programs
  • Serve as project manager on small projects as well as complex, multi-functional initiatives coordinating stakeholders, developing concrete plans and detailed timelines
  • Identify new internal and external opportunities for engagement for EMEA Global Impact team (ie events/conferences, awards, etc.)
  • Develop and update presentations, materials and content related to EMEA Global Impact programs
  • Manage the team's presence at events/conferences
  • Manage the Charity UK social media channels and content strategy
  • For large high-profile charity campaigns serve provide campaign management support
  • Monitor and provide insights into peer and competitor CSR work
  • Keep the regional team organized and focused on execution, when necessary this may include providing administrative and clerical support

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic team player who takes initiative and has a can-do attitude. The role requires an ability to multitask, prioritize and make good use of time management skills. An aptitude for good PowerPoint design, superb organizational and communication skills are required. Previous experience with Corporate Social Responsibility not required, but a heart for service or interest in how brands can be a catalyst for positive change in the world preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant job experience
  • Passion for the mission and vision of eBay and the Global Impact team
  • Outstanding writer and communicator
  • A strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively and comfortably with people of diverse skills, levels, experience and geographies
  • The ability to work confidently and thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required
