Investment Writer - Communications
Our client, a leading UK bank are looking for an Investment Writer to join their Investment Communications team in Central London. The Investment Communications team provides market, economic and proposition communications to private banking clients as well as being tasked with ensuring that communication expertise and support provided by our strategic investment partners is effectively leveraged and appropriately channelled.
The successful candidate will work will report directly to the Head of Investment Communications responsible for creating and delivering a wide range of investment content to our key audiences both internally and externally.
Key duties:
* Develop and implement marketing content and tools to distinctivlkey position investments
* Sourcing ideas for content
* To use observations about investment, company and market themes, to generate insightful content for articles and thought pieces
* Draft, edit and review content to provide an engaging client experience
* Promote content to ensure a broad reach internally and externally
* To work closely with internal teams and stakeholders across the organisation to ensure core messages, investment views and strategies are consistent
* To engage with Digital and Brands & Marketing partners to design, build and deliver a compelling content plan
Key skills/experience required:
* Experience within Asset Management, Wealth Management, or Investment Management is essential
* Outstanding investment writing skills and attention to detail
* Good knowledge of the investment management industry, products and services
* Keen interest in and in-depth knowledge of financial markets, the economy, and investment topics
* 5+ years' experience in developing investment content and writing about investment theories/practices
* Highly developed editorial skills, including the ability to write/adapt content supplied by the Investment team
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact with senior executives, investment teams and channel managers as well as our internal and external partners
* Strong research, interview and investigative skills
* Demonstrate ability to capture complex ideas and express them in a clear, concise and engaging writing style.
