Description
Our Public Sector client in Glasgow require an experienced Senior Marketing Communications Officer to join their team, on an initial 5 month contract.
You will be responsible for a range of internal and external marketing communications support, developing the implementation and ongoing management of marketing and communications plans in support of the delivery and evaluation of key strategic plans, ensuring that marketing communication outputs are effective, accessible, accurate and timely.
Required Skills/Experience:
* Extensive communication, technical marketing and digital experience through working in a related specialism
* Experience of implementing tools and methodologies of evaluation and/or quality improvement
* Degree level in marketing, communications, stakeholder relations or HND with a number of years' experience
* Understanding of customer/user dynamics and requirements gained through work experience and experience of developing, delivering, maintain and measuring marketing communications and digital strategies to meet objectives
* Excellent creative copywriting, sub-editing, proof-reading and digital (particularly in website and social media) skills
* Understanding of the current health social care and political agendas
* Previous experience working in a large organisation
* Previous experience within the NHS would be advantageous
