Job description:
- designing, proof reading and formatting the Department's publications, including client leaflets, staff newsletters, posters and infographics
- delivering standalone communications campaigns to support cross-government and wider activity, eg Diversity Week, People Survey
- advising on branding and style guidelines
- maintaining and updating the web pages and LinkedIn page
- supporting internal communications delivery, including weekly internal staff newsletter and the Intranet
- supporting stakeholder communications activities
- using digital tools including video to create engaging content to support communication campaigns
- occasional support for press office to cover staff absences
Essential
Experience in:
Adobe Indesign
Adobe Photoshop
Desirable
Experience in:
Adobe Illustrator
Use of SLR camera for filming and photographs
Knowledge of video editing programmes
Additional information about the process
The successful candidate will be based in the our clients office based in central London, joining a small communications team which provides communications for the public sector. The role provides an excellent introduction to the full range of government communications disciplines.
