Description

OTR Global's Network Communications group is looking for a Researcher in the U.S. to join its global team. The individual in this role will work closely with senior researchers in the group to provide relevant and timely marketplace intelligence for the global investment audience by conducting primary research. The Network Communications Researcher should be able to efficiently develop new relationships with industry professionals - typically senior managers of North American wireless carriers and network operators, service partners for public cloud providers, wholesalers, and other high-level individuals - and maintain those relationships over time.
The Researcher needs to be creative, curious, and most of all determined to build a dependable list of contacts often viewed as difficult to reach. The Reporter’s primary responsibility will be conducting in-depth interviews and contributing source feedback to research reports. Regular writing opportunities may be assigned after showing ability to deliver high quality source interviews, so clear, concise writing and communication skills are other important aspects of this role. This is a telecommuting position, and a unique opportunity to work with and learn from one of the most differentiated investment research companies in the securities industry.
