UX Specialist Needed
3 Month Initial Contract
Day Rate: £375 - £450 (Outside IR35)
Flexible Working Environment
In this role you will be responsible for the user experience and development of digital products, ensuring the customer experience is optimised in order to improve productivity. This role is suited for a multi-disciplinary candidate, ideally with skills in user experience and user interface design.
Responsibilities:
- Scope and create intuitive user journeys based on an understanding of business goals & user behaviour
- Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys and prototypes optimised for a range of devices and interfaces and use these to gain stakeholder sign off
- Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions underpinned by analytics and best practise UX heuristics
- Make strategic design and user experience decisions related to core and new functions and features
- Develop and build effective relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Liaise regularly with stakeholders to ensure that designs meet their requirements and core business objectives
- Support the wider business initiatives for growth
Skills needed:
- Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas and solutions to internal teams & 3rd parties
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications
- Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design
- Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation
- Ability to work in a fast paced, quick turnaround environment
- Highly organised and diligent with a capacity to work on multiple projects and tasks at the same time
- 3 or more years of UX design experience
- Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, Creative Cloud and prototyping tools
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript & APIs
