Harvey Nash is now recruiting for a Communication Officers, for various contract assignments within the public sector located in Edinburgh, currently working from home. 6 - 12 months in length and can extend with daily rates on offer from £150 - £230 a day depending on experience. Candidates must be happy to operate through an umbrella company and have a current Basic Disclosure Scotland certificate.
If you experience covers a mix of the below, we would love to hear from you:
- A communications (or related) degree or equivalent experience.
- A proven track record working in PR, communications and/or marketing experience.
- Internal and or external/media communications experience.
- Proof reading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- A strong understanding of using social media and how we can use digital tools to broaden our reach.
- Demonstrable experience of using digital communications platforms and tools including social media.
- Experience of supporting social, digital and print campaigns.
- Previous experience of using website CMS.
- Comfortable liaising with stakeholders across the business and presenting your ideas.
- Proven experience of working to brand guidelines.
- The ability to work quickly with accuracy and to problem solve with a logical and analytical approach.
- Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal).
- Adaptability and the ability to switch priorities depending on deadlines.
- Ability to analyse briefs and work independently on projects.
- Strong organisational skills.
