Technical Writer - Business Design
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services requires Technical Writers to be based in their client's office in Swindon, UK. You can work remotely until covid abates.
This is a 6-month temporary contract to start on 28th Oct 2021.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Writing, Copyrighting/Marketing Skills, Business Process Development and Mapping, Digital content management
- Elicit, analyze, specify and validate the business needs of stakeholders
- Identify and manage project stakeholders.
- Learn about the technical offerings and translate the technical product information into a consumer-focused digital product brochure/offering.
- Maintain the product and capability offering, present it in customer centric and easy to understand manner.
- Define the end-to-end business processes.
- Shape and manage content for new offerings and capabilities.
- Work with the Product owners who manage external demand, to support them in accurately representing the product
Key Requirements
- Experience in Stakeholder management (technical & product teams).
- Experience in technical writing, content management.
- Experience in JIRA and Confluence.
- A basic technical background and aptitude for learning is required.
- Nice to have knowledge about basic Cloud services.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-starter and capability to work independently.
- Experience of technical writing in at least 3 large projects.
- Must have experience of working in a client facing role
- Must have experience in working in a multi-vendor environment
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Must have strong interpersonal and consultative skills
