Description
A world leading games developer client of ours is looking for a talented game designer to come into their team. We're on the lookout for equally ambitious new Game Designers who will play a vital role in creating new and exciting experiences for the players of their game. We're looking for creative individuals with practical hands-on experience of working in Unreal engine and bringing their ideas to life. The right candidates will be able to excel at designing and implementing new adventures.
Contract Details:
- Hybrid working
- 20-25k per Annum
- 18 month contract (PAYE)
What we're looking for:
- An interest in shared world game design and an appreciation of the opportunities and the challenges it poses.
- A passion for supporting lore and world building through engaging playable experiences.
- A passion for compelling mechanics and systems design, along with an understanding of what makes these elements effective.
- Practical, hands-on experience of working in Unreal Engine.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work alongside a team of designers and engineers.
- The ability to work closely with the design team to create design briefs for upcoming features.
- Someone who is equally comfortable expressing bold ideas and designs on paper, whiteboards or in an editor
- A strong portfolio of games showing experience in Unity
