Library CRIS Consultant
Our client is looking to review and replace its current Converis Current Research Information System (CRIS) and associated repository infrastructure. The client needs to take the lead and draw up a system requirements document/specification to provide to prospective tender bidders that captures all of their needs, especially around future external integrations.
* 4 weeks.
* £230 p/day.
* Start - Mid July.
Key skills/experience
- CRIS Current Research Information System experience
- System requirements document/specification
- Any experience within Dspace or Figshare would be advantageous
The most complex piece to untangle will be on the repository side as there are multiple repository instances across their 2 sites (using Dspace and Figshare platforms) with some government security considerations for some of the content but there is still scope for simplification and consolidation.
