External Communications Executive - £200 a day (Inside IR35) - 3 Month Contract - Public Sector - Ideally Glasgow based
Essential Skills:
- Source, write, edit and manage high quality content for a range of channels - including news stories and blogs, social media content, client literature and marketing materials (25%)
- Work proactively on an account management model leading on already live benefits to develop ongoing communications and marketing plans to drive take up of benefits. Creation of coordinated communication and marketing plans using insight and analysis to develop and deliver creative communications plans, advising on the best messages, methods and channels to reach and influence audiences both internally and externally (25%)
- Delivering proactive media activity and managing reactive enquiries (including on call responsibility) (15%)
- Provide credible and authoritative communications advice and support to colleagues, including senior leaders. (5%)
- Support Corporate Communication colleagues with any corporate media requirements including things like recruitment, accommodation and planning announcements. This will include providing communications support for Ministerial visits. (15%)
- Managing the regular review of communication and marketing materials to make sure that these are up to date, accurate and that we are continually improving. (10%)
- Work flexibly with colleagues in our creative services and corporate relations teams to deliver an integrated external and internal communications model across multiple platforms and channels (5%)
