Description

Job Summary

Working within a customer-first and agile framework, the Product Owner provide technical consultation and support to Product Portfolio Directors and Solution Architects to help develop digital solution concepts; and work with Centres of Excellence (CoE), Global Business Units (GBU) and external product specialists to oversee product development and the delivery of new functionalities.

The Product Owner is responsible for scheduling and prioritizing the development of the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform DXP, covering Content Cloud, Intelligence Cloud, and Commerce Cloud in the future.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with the Product Portfolio Director, Solution Architects and CoE's to define, schedule and organize the development of solution concepts and new functionalities
  • Create and elaborate user stories
  • Advise on technical design and solutions
  • Define projects constraints and map out dependencies to inform the sprint schedules
  • Ensure the technical components of delivery work meet the agreed timeline, criteria and KPI's
  • Identify and define priorities and oversee partner's backlog management
  • Provide an active role in removing roadblocks
  • Manage the product's release plans
  • Assist in defineing test strategy
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing and post-delivery user training
  • Facilitate end to end system demos
  • Facilitate programme retrospectives
  • Provide technical and process guidance to members of the wider project team
  • Work with the Solution Architect to maintain the evolving architectural design
  • Work with the Product Portfolio Director to ensure that best practice in data and compliance standards is being followed by all partners and across all business units and global markets

Person Profile

Must have

  • Enterprise content management platform experience with deep product knowledge in one or more systems (Optimizely, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Experience with CMS content modelling best practicies
  • Experience with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML)
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and DevOps methodolody
  • Understanding of API and microservices
  • Understanding of Git
  • Customer-first mindset
  • Experience in configuration first product delivery
  • Experience of creating and elaborating user stories
  • Experience of using story points to estimate features and prioritizing requirements by business value
  • Good interpersonal skills including coaching, collaboration, scheduling and managing internal and partner agile working teams
  • Experience of facilitating design forums
  • Ability to define ready and done
  • Experience of working in a global environment
  • Proficiency in English
  • Experience of Confluence, JIRA, prototype/wireframes and user journey flows
