Following extensive investment across our Technology and Digital domains and with plans for continued expansion throughout 2023 and beyond, we are currently seeking a Service Designer to support in the transformation of Cybersecurity Education and Awareness activities to the end user.

Brief overview of the business areas
Cyber Education and Awareness is a key enabler in the roll out of the Bank's DevSecOps strategy, in particular supporting developers to be secure by design'. We want to reimagine how and where we serve cyber education and awareness activities to shift mind-sets; not only training developers to code more securely but also have a secure mind-set earlier on in the development process.

This role is particularly focused on better understanding the needs and building out personas of software developers (including Security Champions' referred to as Application Security Leads) and Cyber SMEs - although the research may extend to other engineering and development disciplines.
We are looking for a Service Designer who is agnostic in their research and strategic thinking, experienced in working with highly technical end users to accurately map, deep dive issues and report the current state of services.
The role holder will also work with insight from vulnerability management to envision and design a new ecosystem between Cybersecurity and the end user and the next version of services based on deep understanding of customer needs. As well is reimaging how we serve cyber education and awareness to developers, the team is also transforming cyber education services to other groups within the bank.
The Service Designer contributes to activities on this transformation including prioritisation, colleague workshops, complex people and technology mapping and service definition.
The Service Designer is responsible the delivery of service design artefacts, engaging with multi-disciplinary teams of business people, architect and engineers.

As a Service Designer, you will:
Provide creative insight based upon provable research for multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring high quality results.
Use design research techniques to uncover customer needs and pain points.
Understand, analyse and map complex journeys and processes.
Develop service concepts, blueprints and other service design artefacts.
Establish and manage relationships.

Your experience:
Relevant experience in service design or related role such as user experience design or design research
Experience in a role working across multi-disciplinary teams to produce coherent and effective design solutions
Passionate about service design creating human-centred services.
Knowledge of existing and emerging service design tools and methods.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Experience in running online and offline workshops.
Proven history of delivering results on time and within budget.
Provable Service Design (UX Strategy) experience
Accustomed to working collaboratively with clients and cross-functional team members.

Set yourself apart:
Experience with quantitative research methodologies and drawing insights from data.
Experience of Lean and Agile DevOps Transformation from a Service Design perspective
Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Engineering Experience in Global Companies
Experience of applying design principles to traditional training content to better integrate training into a user journey, surfacing information at the point of need and transforming training' into an enabler, no longer seen as separate to a user's primary goal.
