Content Designer

6 month contract

Hybrid - Remote and Coventry occasional travel

Day rate: INSIDE IR35

2 Projects available:

Project 1:

Role: The successful candidate will be working alongside careers advisors to help update a set of 800+ job/career profiles, to ensure the information in them (salary, hours, entry requirements etc) is up-to-date. Part of the role will be pair writing with careers advisors. There are currently two careers advisors in the service.

Hybrid working (very occasional travel into the office in Coventry for workshops etc)

Person: They would like a content person with a careers background'. They would like the emphasis to be on the careers advisor experience, as they feel they can teach someone the necessary content design principles.

Project 2:

Role: The team are working on the live service and providing continuous improvement functions. They need a content designer. The content designer will be working alongside an interaction designer and user researcher. They will be looking at introducing multi-factor authentication and making improvements to user and caseworker systems. It's a nice and supportive team who do things like have fortnightly quizzes together. Other points to note:

Expected start date 1 April

Inside IR35

6 month contract + scope to extend

Person: They must have GDS experience. They need to be someone who uses their initiative and doesn't need hand holding.
