Regulatory Proposal Writer - Financial Markets - Technology - FX - CONTRACT
Job purpose
The Program Senior Technical Proposal Writer will be accountable for the preparation of critical documents for review by external stakeholders. The role will work closely with a wide range of technology and business subject matter experts to compile, edit and polish comprehensive descriptions of large technology projects to enable stakeholders to assess the risks associated with the proposed program of work.
This is an excellent opportunity to support a major program migrating a Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI) to a new target architecture.

Responsibilities
The Technical proposal writer will be accountable for:
- Defining and managing a document submission timeline including review and approval cycles.
- Define document storyline and strategy to convey project objectives, scope and risk management plans clearly.
- Working closely with subject matter experts to coordinate contributions, including Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Finance teams.
- Copy editing and stakeholder management to ensure document flow and single voice.
- Work with executive management to conduct reviews and approvals.
- Preparation of associated executive and board presentation materials.
- Document change control and quality management.
- Compilation of evidence/supporting materials
Qualifications/certifications
- At least 5 years experience writing and managing technology proposals
- May come from a consulting/technology sales background
- Previous experience working within a highly regulated industry (ideally Banking)
- Knowledge of Financial Services and FX desirable, including associated technology, infrastructure and security concerns.
- Proven organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills essential
- Proven experience supporting major programs requiring interacting with regulators, either from a policy or supervisory perspective.
- Have professional presentation skills, including excellent writing and public speaking capabilities; expert in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint).
