Description

The FI & Regulatory Reporting Team is based in London and is made of 7 persons.

The scope of the team is wide and gradually expanding to all of Europe, encompassing regulatory and industry bodies reporting for all Fixed Income & products and activities, market initiatives, change management and representing the firm globally throughout a host of industry working groups and regulators.

The team is heavily involved in ensuring the firms success by a constant monitoring of the evolution and the development of reporting requirements set by regulators.

The role is based in London.

Role/Responsibilities

  • Produce the full Fixed Income and scope of MiFID Transaction Reporting to the FCA and AMF, via daily upload through to involvement co-ordinating of Steering Committees.
  • Via direct use of an in-house system, closely monitor reporting message feeds sent to the GTR (Global Trade Repository), promptly resolving any issues, ultimately ensuring that our EMIR and DFA reporting obligations are fulfilled.
  • Produce ad-hoc regulatory reporting requirements (BoE, BdF, ECB, FED & other industry or regulatory bodies) and key performance indicators to monitor the production of such reports.
  • Review functional specifications, internal requirements, provide gap analysis.
  • Actively engage other Middle and Back Office Operational teams to ensure that all forms of Regulatory Reporting is transferred to the Regulatory Reporting Factory in line with Regulator request.
  • Work with IT., F.O. management, Static Data, and global M.O. teams to ensure good global communication and to also ensure that procedures evolve and streamline the regulatory reporting operation.
  • Continuous improvement and enhancement of team processes

Skills/Core Competencies

  • Deep knowledge of Credit, FX, Bonds and/or Interest Rate Derivatives, including ISDA Definitions, Master Agreement and life cycle of trades
  • Deep knowledge of trade cycle events, IT workflows
  • Advanced spreadsheets skills, ability to build macros and strong data manipulation
  • Advanced project skills
  • Ability to build, grow and maintain partnerships across regions and functions
  • Work effectively with senior management
  • Maintain an organised and dedicated approach to tasks assigned, in mind that timing and accuracy is of major importance
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Be autonomous, smart "problem solver"
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills will be a plus.
