We are currently recruiting for the position of a Discipline Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Leading Transport Company based at their site in Holborn, London for an initial 6 month contract/assignment.
Job Title: Discipline Engineer - Civil (Bridges & Structures)
Project/Team:
Sub-surface Railway Upgrade is one of the largest metro upgrade programme in the world. Civil engineering is one of the elements of the £4.2billion delivery. There are nine civil engineers working in the team. Works covers from design, project engineering and assurance.

Essential Experience:
Chartered Engineer (CEng) + member grade of either ICE or IStructE
Minimum 3 years post Chartered experience
Underground rail experience
Evidence of managing Civil/Structural Engineering designers, co-ordination of multi-disciplines requirements with the development of civil engineering solutions
Knowledge of LU standards and stage works
Capable of Preparing design, checking drawings & writing, reviewing and accepting civil engineering scope for designers and contractors
Capability to understand Programme deadline to meet cost and engineering solutions
Demonstrable experience of Regeneration of railway properties
