Governance and Measurement Lead - Financial Services - London - £ per day

We have been engaged by a market leading retail banking client looking for a governance and measurement professional to lead a major regulatory data initiative (BCBS 239) across a number of functions within the bank to improve its risk data aggregation and reporting capabilities.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Co-ordinate and develop a risk-data aggregation measurement, monitoring and reporting process
  • Provide guidance, direction and advice for governance requirements surrounding BCBS 239
  • Clarify and communicate governance and policy change requirements accordingly
  • Provide and make sure appropriate data is available to feed into the process
  • Define templates and content for relevant governance areas
  • Develop and approach to assess the existing governance and policy landscape
  • Senior stakeholder management and engagement

Required experience/skills:

  • Risk experience within a banking environment
  • Strong governance and regulatory experience within banking
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience measuring, monitoring and reporting risk data
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks
  • Experience working on BCBS 239 highly desirable

This is an initial 6 month interim role based in London, paying £ per day
